Did you know that the Empire State Building, located in New York City, USA, is a 102-story skyscraper and one of the most famous buildings in the world? Its height is 381 meters, or 449.5 meters including the antenna. The building is one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture and was completed in 1931. Until 1972, when the North Tower of the World Trade Center was built, it was the tallest building in the world. Construction took only 14 months, using 60,000 tons of steel and 10 million bricks.
