A Simple to Use Interface:
Virtual Reality is an exciting new concept, and many students and teachers will not have experienced a VR headset, or even know what to expect. ClassVR has been designed to provide an exciting, engaging, yet simple to use interface to allow students and teachers to quickly and easily access educational content and applications with minimal fuss and no distractions, keeping them focused on the task at hand. The heart of the ClassVR interface is the ‘holodeck‘. This futuristic ‘room’ gives students a central place to begin their adventures. Across the holodeck, icons are shown, depicting educational activities, locations or experiences.
ClassVR Portal 1a License: ClassVR has created a separate portal for teachers where you can check the contents of all main settings with a few simple mouse clicks. Students can only explore different scenes, videos and pictures with the teacher's permission. If there is no permission, everyone will see what the teacher wants to show. Checking 30 main units simultaneously has never been easier. This gives confidence that the students are using the main equipment as intended and that the lesson is fulfilling its purpose.
The ClassVR portal contains thousands of materials that are convenient for teachers to use in all lessons. The collection of materials is constantly growing. There are 360-degree images, 360-degree videos, 3D models (augmented reality) and scenes to move around. All materials are divided into categories, marked with different search words and divided by subject - all to make the search as easy as possible. In addition, 10 lesson plans have been prepared in Estonian to make getting started as easy as possible. The lesson plans contain a QR code, as a result of which the right materials reach the main unit immediately. In addition, the lesson plans show perfectly how the subjects can be integrated. You can see the lesson plans in Estonian here: https://www.insplay.eu/slides/classvr-10/category/tour plans-27
